As part of the design/build team for the project, McBrie, LLC acted as
the engineer of record and provided foundation and framing construction
documents. We also supplied and erected 250 tons of structural steel and
bar joist, 37,500 square feet of floor form and 12,700 square feet of roof
deck. We also furnished and installed two stair towers and an ornamental
tube steel canopy. |

ASAP, Tyngsboro MA
McBrie, LLC consulted with the architect of record to provide value
engineering for the project to the owner. McBrie then supplied and
installed over 50 tons of fabricated steel and joist, along with
230 squares of roof deck and 40 squares of floor form. We also fabricated
and installed three sets of 24-rise concrete pan stairs and 40 linear
feet of interior railings with removable sections. |

framing design documents. McBrie also supplied and erected 460 tons of

MA
McBrie was awarded this 19,000 square foot showroom and service
addition through a competitive bidding process. We supplied and
erected 105 tons of structural bar joist and decking, along with
one set of concrete pan stairs. We also fabricated and installed
16 “Autohaus” epoxy painted decorative columns to Mercedes
specifications. |

Herb Chambers Executive Offices
Somerville
Awarded through competitive bidding, McBrie
was handed the complete steel package. We supplied and installed
150 tons of structural
steel, joist and deck. The project required setting a new floor
and roof above the existing structure, attaching to existing columns.
A helicopter pad was set on the new roof. Eleven two-tone epoxy
painted “Autohaus” columns were also supplied and installed
to Mercedes Benz specifications. |

Lytron Building, Woburn MA
As a bid project, McBrie, LLC was awarded the structural steel and miscellaneous
steel package for the two-story, 25,000 square foot office/manufacturing
addition. McBrie supplied and erected 260 tons of structural steel and
bar joist, 2,500 square feet of floor decking and 33,900 square feet
of roof deck. We also furnished and installed two standard scissor
stairs and one monumental glass and plate stairway. |

McBrie was awarded this project through competitive bidding. We supplied
and installed 485 tons of structural steel, 60 tons of steel joist and
over 800 square feet of steel decking. McBrie provided all shop drawings
with complete connection designs, calculations and value engineering,
resulting in a quick review from the engineer of record. |

McBrie acted as the structural engineer of record and provided all foundation
and steel framing plans for this two story addition. McBrie supplied
and installed 135 tons of structural steel joist and 240 squares of decking.
We also fabricated and installed two sets of 23-rise concrete pan stairs. |

As part of the design/build team for the project, McBrie, LLC acted as
the engineer of record and provided foundation and framing construction
documents. McBrie also supplied and erected 137 tons of structural steel
and 24,000 square feet of composite deck. We also furnished and installed
two sets of concrete pan scissor stairs. This is the second design build
project with JP Realty and we are currently working on a third. |

McBrie supplied 24 tons of steel joist and girders along with 16,500 square
feet of metal decking to the fabricator on the project. McBrie has supplied
steel for over 100 CVS stores over the last few years for numerous fabricators. |

Concordia, Swampscott, MA
McBrie consulted with the architect and developer early in the preliminary
design phase to provide the most cost effective steel design scenario
while meeting the architectural requirements. We designed a composite
steel joist framing system which greatly reduced weight and cost on the
project. Flush framed joist seats were used, allowing the steel carrying
beams to also be composite. The cost savings was substantial. McBrie
also supplied 193 tons of fabricated steel, 67 tons of composite joist
and 440 squares of floor form, along with two sets of four-story tower
stairs. |
